Antique Victorian "JUDGE IMPARTIALLY" 14k Gold Cased Purple Glass Seal Fob circa 1840

This lovely little piece of history is an antique Victorian seal fob created circa 1840. These wonderful relics of the time of written communication would have been worn singular or in sets at the end of a watch chain and are a delightful reflection of the user's personality.

This example - set with purple glass - features the scales of justice with the phrase "JUDGE IMPARTIALLY" surrounding set in an intricate 14k gold cased surround. Gold casing was common for these pieces and is a thicker form of gold plating.

Beautiful to wear as a pendant alone or add to a charm bracelet.
