This English early Victorian mourning ring, inscribed" Eliz. Broadrick Ob. 15 Jan, 1838 At 19 yr  " is a touching reminder of a short life.  Set in beautiful 18 carat gold, this ring it features a central crystal set compartment containing hair of the deceased. Surrounded by chased floral design in gold with then an additional black enamel band leading into spectacular split chased gold floral shoulders. An extraordinary relic from the early 19th century. Extremely wearable for mourning jewelry, perfect for a collector or just those looking for a beautiful antique ring. Ring sold as-is. Please read condition report carefully.
