Victorian Sterling Silver Fishing Locket Circa 1884
This extremely rare authentic antique late Victorian sterling silver locket features an unusual motif - a man fishing! Hallmarked for production in England in 1884 and still in excellent condition today, its intricate ornate design - beautiful raised silverwork surrounding a charming country scene with a tree, river and man in a frock coat and hat with a fishing pole. It also amazingly seems to still contain the original photographs - these can be removed for your own photos as well.

Hallmarks: Maker's mark MJG most likely for Michael Joseph Goldsmith - Vittoria Street, Birmingham. Lion passant for sterling silver, anchor assay for Birmingham UK and date letter 'k' for 1884-5.
