Victorian Banded Agate Pendant Fob circa 1860

This elegant antique pendant fob dates from the Victorian era, circa 1870 and features a large oval banded agate set in chased gold colored metal with an intricately decorated reverse. Banded agate was a popular stone in the Victorian age, made in a variety of colors and shapes - this is a beautiful example in brown, black and white. Originally an oversize watch fob it makes a beautiful pendant today.
