Victorian Agate, Black Enamel and Gold Mourning Ring
This wonderfully ornate antique English ring dates from 1867 and epitomizes Victorian design. Beautifully set with a central rectangular agate surrounded by elaborate black enamel designs that continue down the shoulders into a thick 9k yellow gold band.
Originally a piece that would have been worn during morning its striking appearance makes it a wonderful statement ring for today.

Dimensions: Central setting measures 14 mm wide by 12 mm tall and band measures 2.7 mm wide.

Hallmarks: 9 .375 for 9k gold, anchor assay for Birmingham UK and date letter "S" for 1867
Condition: In good antique condition. One chip to corner of central agate as seen in photos. Enamel is in good condition. Ring shows some evidence of previous resizing. Additional photos and videos are available upon request. While we do not resize rings we can advise if a ring is suitable for resizing.
