Edwardian 18k Gold Sapphire and Diamond Ring circa 1910
This lovely ring is a beautiful authentic English antique piece created over 100 years ago, in the Edwardian era. Crafted in rich yellow 18k gold and fully hallmarked for production in the UK in 1910, it features three sapphires flanked by small rose cut diamonds. The sapphires are a light cornflower blue. Known as a "boat" ring since the stones sit within the setting like passengers in a boat.
A wonderful engagement ring or wedding band its setting stacks nicely with other rings.
Size: 6 1/2 US
Dimensions: Central setting measures 13 mm by 6 mm and band measures 2 mm at the narrowest.
Hallmarks: Crown and 18 for 18K gold, town assay for Chester UK, and date letter "K" for 1910.
Weight: 2.27 grams
Condition: In very good antique condition. All stones original. Stones are lively and bright. Some minor abrasions to facet edge of sapphires. Some wear to band commensurate with age and use.
