Edwardian Toi et Moi Sapphire Diamond Ring 18k Gold Platinum C. 1915

Ever since Napoleon gave one to Empress Josephine the "Toi et Moi" (You and Me) style has been the epitome of romance. The two stones representing two souls in orbit, bound together for eternity. This wonderful style is favorite for engagement rings but also makes a fantastic anniversary, friendship or striking statement ring. 

This authentic antique Edwardian example is particularly lovely with a gorgeous blue sapphire and diamond in a simple platinum setting on an 18k yellow gold band- a popular solution at the time, with the durability of platinum and the allure of gold. Made in the early 20th century circa 1915-20.

Dimensions: Setting approximately 8 mm long and  band is 2 mm wide 

Hallmarks: "18ct" for 18k yellow gold  and "PLAT" for platinum

Condition report: Ring is in good antique condition. Small nicks and scratches to the sapphire visible under 10x magnification. Evidence of repair to stone setting. Diamond may be later replacement. Additional photos and videos available upon request.
