Georgian C. 1800 Foiled Back Flat Cut Garnet and Pearl Pansy Ring
This gorgeous antique ring dates from the late Georgian period circa 1800. Set with five highly sought after flat cut foiled back fiery red garnets in a charming pansy shape with a central seed pearl. This substantial ring most likely started life as a button or part of a larger piece and has been gloriously converted into a ring. Set on thick a later Georgian-style chased 15k gold band, the head is set in 18k yellow gold.
