Over 200 years of history in a wearable, beautiful item! This authentic antique Georgian brooch dates from the late 18th or early 19th century, circa 1800. Eleven flat cut and foil backed garnets surround a border of seed pearls with a beautiful cherry red faceted foiled garnet center. All set in 9k rosy yellow gold. Beautiful sparkle and color -especially flickering in candlelight. Is gorgeous as a brooch but would also make a wonderful pendant or ring with conversion.
