The Ruskin Pottery was an English art pottery studio founded in 1898 by Edward R. Taylor, The pottery was notable for the innovative glazes used on a range of brightly colored pots, vases, buttons, bowls, tea services and jewelry. The period in which such work was done was from 1901-1935. This brooch is a typical example of what they produced and was made circa 1910 in the arts and crafts style. The ceramic and enamel plaques were sold to craftspersons for home production as well so it is hard to distinguish between those examples and those made by the Ruskin Pottery itself but this is a typical example.

Beautiful blue green enamel and ceramic center triangular shaped center.
