Edwardian 18k Gold Opal and Rock Crystal Long Chain circa 1910

This exceptional and stunning necklace is an flawless example of an antique Edwardian "long chain" circa 1910-1920s.  These elegant pieces were worn hanging loose often below the waist in the fashion of the day or could be wrapped once around the neck. This necklace is slightly over 55 inches long - 4 1/2 feet! Set with eight opal, faceted rock crystal and seed pearl beaded intervals on an 18k yellow gold chain. Can be worn in a variety of styles to fit modern fashions.
