Georgian Horn Shaped Gold Gilt Cannetille Miniature Telescope Spyglass Pendant

This intriguing object - a small telescoping spy glass shaped like a horn set on a pendant loop is a lovely authentic antique French pendant dates from 1820-30 during the Bourbon Restoration. Made of cannetille word in a gold plated metal it features two articulated sections that expand to create a small telescope - still fully functional! Used by the elite in parks and for entertainment and events it works beautifully as a pendant today.
