What is better than authentic 18th Century Georgian garnets? Antique garnets married to the security of modern jewelry design. This beautiful pendant conversion takes original 18th century flat cut foiled back garnets (most likely from a larger necklace or earrings) and backed it in 18k gold and added a modern (hallmarked 2005) 18k bale. Made in a five petal pansy design - the pansy representing "thinking of you" in jewelry symbolism suspended below a trefoil three stone garnet top.  Excellent color and fire and wear it with confidence! Sold with modern 18 inch gold over silver chain.

Hallmarks: Town assay for Edinburgh UK, "750" for 18k gold, date letter 'f' for 2005 

Condition: In very good vintage/antique condition. Garnets have some surface scratching commensurate with age. Pendant has been converted in 2005. Box is for display only.
